PROMOTION

One of my favorite things in the world is communicating the stories and vision of churches, nonprofit organizations, businesses and creators that are doing amazing things in the world. My heart is to create digital content that connects organizations with the people that desire to engage with them, whether that be people that want to buy their work, volunteer or donate to their causes, collaborate in a collective mission, or attend their events. Getting the word out matters--it's how good stuff spreads, and I have been incredibly honored to get to spread the good stuff with these organizations. Heights Student Camp 2018

The goal in promoting the Heights Student Camp was to engage students with the theme before they ever arrived, which was "Purpose." I wanted to get students to think about the places they frequent each day and what purpose God might have for them there, even in the small things. The desire was for them to see that with God, all things have purpose. These photos were taken of students from the back, without their faces in view, in order to help people place themselves in the scene. Short written pieces accompanied each photo, and these written words eventually became scripts for videos shown each night during worship.

Steel City Pops

Steel City Pops is a family-owned, gourmet popsicle shop operating in over 20 locations across the southeastern US. It has been my joy to capture their photos for their various social media promotions--I couldn't imagine more fun or kind people to work with! And of course, I also appreciate all the delicious ice cream they've spoiled me with.

Project 82 Kenya

Project 82 is an organization seeking to love, care and provide for vulnerable children in Kenya. They do this through child sponsorship, a baby rescue home, and a group home. They believe children best thrive in family enviornments, and so work tirelessly to provide this for each child that comes into their care. I had the most incredible opporunity to spend three months with these people and they are truly the most beautiful people I know. These photos were used for various digital and print promotions.

 

Awmp

The Association for Women in Ministry Professions working to connect like-minded women for community and the sharing of resources. I had so much fun attending an event with these amazing women and getting photos for their website!

Easter at The Heights

This campaign was so promote the Easter services at The Heights Church, and to engage people's hearts as they scroll their social media feed. The story of Holy Week was told through photos with a symbol representation of important events, paired with the corresponding scripture references. 

Heights Students

Managing the Heights Students social media accounts is an ongoing project with a focus on promoting events in a unique and engaging way, while also providing content that leads students to think about the things of God in the midst of a polluted and dark digital culture.

 

toledo christian academy

TCA is a non-profit, non-denominational school in Belize that exists to teach and equip the next generation of Belizean citizens while being a beacon of hope in the surrounding villages. I was so grateful to get to spend a week with this beautiful community and document their lives through photos, and also designed a new website for them to engage with those interested in visiting as well as potential donors.  

Empowered to Connect

Empowered to Connect is a conference focused on equipping the Church to serve vulnerable children through foster care and adoption. As someone who cares deeply about this community, I loved getting to document the story of a foster family for the purpose of taking social media followers along on their journey, and prompting them to consider attending the conference to explore how they might be called to be involved with foster care/adoption in the city of Dallas.

Chi Alpha promotion

Chi Alpha is a weekend retreat for 7th-12th grade students of the north Dallas area. The goal of this project was to encourage students to come and bring friends, but also to pause their day to reflect on what they hoped to see God do, to prepare for the event to come, and to pray in unity as a community. The words on each portrait represented that student's prayer for the weekend, and each caption consisted of their words on why they felt led to pray in that direction.
